After the novel ''What Was She Thinking: Notes On A Scandal'' by Zoe Heller this film is following the fate of Sheba Hart (Cate Blanchett), a teacher who starts an affair with a pupil and is stalked then by collegue Barbara Covett (Dame Judi Dench). Bill Nighy is Richard Hart, Sheba's husband. A drama directed by Richard Eyre, screenplay by Patrick Marber.
