A small anecdote from the set of Disney's G-Force (by William Diehl)

         

Hi all. I met Bill on the set of his new film G-Force. I am a Hollywood Teamster and was on the set for 12 days tranporting extras and crew. When I first met him he said "Hello, I'm Bill" to which I replied "I'm Bill also" - which became his name for me whenever we saw each other on the set. I told him that Still Crazy ranks among my family's and mine all time favorite films and he was genuinely thankful and said it was his favorite film to make.  We did a grueling 10 days of night shots at an amazing estate north of Los Angeles and they shot until dawn each night with everything from hot Santa Ana winds to wet cold fog and drizzle. I was amused to hear the Rolling Stones coming out of his trailer several times in the night. I found him to be very kind and a true gentleman and of course a true talent.   Cheers to you Bill - Bill Also (Diehl)
