Glenys Barton's sculptures of Bill Nighy for Enduring Love

Artist Glenys Barton did an impressing sculpture

of Bill Nighy exclusively for the film.

According to the artist, she also had watched

"Shaun Of The Dead" during the work on this

and had infiltrated some zombie look,

which she teased Bill about at a meeting.

You can find Glenys' works at

Flowers East Gallery, London.

Glenys Barton about working for ''Enduring Love'' and with Bill Nighy:

''You ask about my Bill Nighy experience......

A sitting was arranged for me, with Bill, at the newly set up Enduring Love headquarters in Caledonia Road early on in the setting up of the film. The Bill portrait was crucial to the beginning of the story.  I seemed to be with him for hours talking and taking photos as we talked - gathering material and forming my ideas for the sculpture.  At least that is always my aim on first meeting a new subject. At some point we had lunch and met some of the crew. When I came away at the end of the afternoon and set off for my studio my sides ached with laughing and I was a bit worried that the amazing entertainment that I had experienced might have distracted me from my main task - and I felt that perhaps I should have paid for such an exclusive ticket!

He is a lovely friendly guy. Later we met at various events to do with the film and since then he has taken an interest in my work.  He was a great support when visiting my exhibition and bringing the press with him.''
