In July 2009 Bill, along with numerous leading actors, artists, poets, broadcasters, novelists, directors, playwrights and commentators has joined anti poverty charity ActionAid to send an open letter to world leaders on the eve of the G8 summit.
In July 2008 Bill has travelled to the G8 summit Japan with Oxfam. See and hear what he says about his work there an the Oxfam page and read his blog.
