A feud between vampires and werewolves, and vampyrette Selene (Kate Beckinsale) can't find another way out of the war than awaking the clan leader Viktor (Bill Nighy) from his sleep of some hundred years.

A very dark fantasy/horror film by Len Wiseman with Matrix looks and a heavy Nu Metal soundtrack.
