The BILL NIGHY Experience

THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE

Bill Nighy as Slartibartfast in Disney's The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy

Bill Nighy is planet designer Slartibartfast in Disney's The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy after the five parted trilogy by the late Douglas Adams. Unlike the BBC's Eighties TV series You may know, the film has some great special effects on offer, like the voyage through Slartibartfast's planet factory. Douglas Adams was personally envolved in the script, one of his last works before his death.

An allstar cast with the likes of Martin Freeman, Sam Rockwell, Zooey Deschanel, Warwick Davis, Mos Def and John Malkovich plus the voices of Stephen Fry as the Guide, Bill Bailey as dropping whale and Alan Rickman as Marvin the paranoid android.

Some first impression from a preview:

"... Bill Nighy breathes a heartbeat into the film with his touching portrayal of Slartibartfast."
